Gadget Hackwrench: The Religion

we could debate endlessly over the difference between a religion and a cult, but out of respect, i'm calling the gadget hackwrench religion a religion because that's what the worshippers call it.

and yes, if you were unsure, gadget hackwrench is the fix-it girl female mouse from the rescue rangers. and there exists a team of russians who worship her with great passion-- singing songs, lighting candles and pasting pictures of her all around town.

“She is the divine being, the most untouched and perfect sibling of the great God on Earth”, say one of the participants. “Why I love her? It’s stupid question, how I can’t love the Goddess?”. “She is strict, cute, optimistic and her level of technical knowledge is unachievable for a mortal being.” those are just a few of the testimonies of the sect followers.

that is some serious dedication, by the way, tromping through russian snow to show your love for gadget hackwrench. i'm curious to know more about the religion's reward system (i.e. cheese-filled heaven, etc.)

if it is a religion, it's the newest one invented. and if it's a cult, it's still pretty interesting and a whole lot more entertaining than the madonna cult.

and, in other-- rad-- news, someone else has invented a great recipe for a peanut butter & jelly ice cream cone! it's not what it sounds like and i have already put making myself one on my "to do" list.
