FOUND: Valentine's To-Do List

i could start a whole book of city scribblings i've picked up while walking. but generally, i hate to-do lists. they're the only hand-written pieces of litter i find more uninteresting than the "fedex: please buzz #28" post-its that are everywhere.

but this to-do i dig. it's like an adult-version of one of those "which does not belong?" math problems.

though i suppose that depends on where she plans to put the ipod adapter.

according to google my investigative journalism, "la perla" is either a lingerie shop or a restaurant in san francisco. they both work well with valentine's-- though the restaurant is actually much more of a tenderloin pizza place.

and it's probably a fair guess that la perla is a lingerie shop given the victoria's secret "return/exchange" bullet following.

"these panties are simply not sexy enough. better return them before hanky pankys."

i should add that i absolutely love the fact she wrote down "hanky pankys"-- like she might be so busy exchanging lacy underwear that she'd simply forget to have sex with her partner by the end of the day.

i also love that it's pluralized.

i think i may spend some time putting together my own to-do lists and leaving them about the city to confuse other ground-scorers like myself.

1. buy lube
2. condoms
3. fluffy handcuffs
4. mars attacks dvd

UPDATE: i was wrong about hanky pankys. apparently they're just underwear-- not sex. m'bad. thank you alice and aimee for teaching me something new.
