is there more to the color than we know? for instance, would an over-abundance of orange create some sort of freak event like anti-gravity or dimension portals?
in nature, red is commonly known as dangerous-- blood, poisonous dart frogs, black widows and many plants hold true to this theory.
green seems to help us-- it means life and comfort which is probably why our shampoos and other such pleasant items are generally green.
but orange is not spoken of. it is the only color we're told not to wear in excess-- that too much of the color looks ugly on everyone. the word itself rhymes with nothing unless you count "door-hinge" which is somewhat of a stretch.
furthermore, it seems orange is the one in the family no one likes; orange is the orphan of the rainbow. in the world of m&m's the spoke-candies are named red, yellow, blue, ms. green and crispy. orange is the odd-man-out, the punk-rocker with no motivation but a whole lot to say. even the ghosts of pacman roll the same way: we have inky, blinky, pinky and... clyde. orange again!
what is this hatred toward orange? what secret purposes can it be hiding? every color has a meaning it was born with but i'm having trouble understanding what orange symbolizes-- it sort of means "warning" but also "it's not too serious, just a heads-up"-- but i thought that was what yellow was for already.
there's something going on with the damn color and i'm going to find out what. i may just be about to unlock a world-changing secret-- da vinci code style.
p.s. - if i never update this blog again you should scour the pages for clues that may lead to a great discovery as well as my unfortunate death.
p.p.s - there is a better chance, though, that i'm just lazy and have nothing to write about. but check for clues anyway.
