I Had to Share This

still no one has thoroughly explained the world's random bird-droppings, but more colorful theories seem to pop up day by day. perhaps "bird-droppings" is not the best phrasing. but a variety of birds have randomly fallen from the sky in kentucky, arkansas, sweden, england, manhattan, and so on-- some people are blaming climate change, religious folk are pointing at god (like usual), and a few scientists are trying to pretend this is a completely normal and logical event (like usual), but some people are making a movie.

i hope you all have memberships to blockbuster, because COMING THIS FEBRUARY; A STRAIGHT-TO-DVD RELEASE:

birdemic: shock and terror!

mhm, frealz.

but wait. it gets better.

don't worry: the screenshot is misleading. this trailer is safe for work. except that it's so frightening you may want to go home early and cry.

the film has been self-described as "Partly inspired by Hitchcock's The Birds, Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, Francis Coppola's Apocalypse Now, Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction & cult sensation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show."

and tippi hedron actually makes a cameo.

look out, san francisco, mega-shark vs. giant octopus may have some competition. birdemic: shock and terror is a real movie, that takes place in san jose-- where all the action takes place.

i am secretly hoping the birds falling out of the sky was just really well done viral marketing to advertise for birdemic: the greatest horrible movie to ever be released straight to dvd.
