A British teenager who had sent an abusive email to US President Barack Obama has been banned for life from visiting America.i love that this kid drunkenly watched a tv program about 9/11 and got so mad he decided to email the whitehouse. what a great night. that makes me feel slightly less embarrassed about the time i took hallucinogens and spun a top for forty-five minutes straight.
According to media reports, Luke Angel, 17, had sent an insulting email to the White House in a drunken state after watching a programme about September 11 attacks on the US.
In his hate email, Angel was abusive of Obama. The FBI intercepted the message and contacted police in the UK.
The local police found the teenager at his home in Silsoe, Bedfordshire, and informed him that he is now on a list of people who are banned from visiting the US, the Daily Mail reported.

the best part is the fbi intercepted his email and sent the british police to his house. what year is this?
i would really love to read the email he wrote. what angry words are actually required to get yourself a lifetime of banned from america? i mean when i was fifteen i got banned from safeway for pretending to be an employee and demanding customers surrender their shopping carts-- but the u.s. over an email?
without seeing his writing, it's hard to say if we're being a team of jerks or if the seventeen year-old actually managed to spin some dangerously horrible sentences that actually merited locking him out of the great land of mcdonalds and reality tv.
i can't see there existing an email so vile it renders the author uninvited to a country, and the fact this legendary email wasn't published-- even in a heavily censored form-- leads me to believe this was a gross overreaction to a drunk teenager's sloppy thoughts.
but who knows. if i don't update for a long time, i may have been kicked out of america for writing this post. so, my apologies in advance.
in other news, apple is denying that steve jobs has vowed never to visit japan again because the airport security refused to let him bring ninja stars home. evidently, he plans to visit japan again soon. but there is no word on whether or not he really bought ninja stars. i like to believe he did.
