New Delhi, April 5, only a veteran social activist Anna Hazare his indefinite fast until death on Tuesday to press for the demand to involve civil society in the formulation of draft law on combating graft (Ombudsman) Lokpal.
Hazare visited the Babri mosque this morning, before embarking on Jantar Mantar India through the gate to start the protest.
Speaking to reporters here, said he was saddened by Hazare when he refused the request of the Prime Minister by senior members of civil society to be included senior ministers in the joint committee on the draft law Lokpal.
Earlier, Hazare said that the government is corrupt at all, will not succeed in stopping the pass this law and that he will spare no effort to achieve this.
"I have dedicated my life to serve my nation, and I did not go to my house from the past 35 years. I want that the poor should get justice. I want the money, which we are all losers of corruption. And this government is to help all corrupt," he said.
Bill Lokpal (Ombudsman Bill), 2010, which is awaiting approval by a parliamentary select committee, and provides for the submission of complaints of corruption against the prime minister and the ministers and deputies.
He considered that the draft law Hazare Lokpal, in its present form, is useless, and the formulation of a separate bill Lokpal January (Ombudsman Assembly Bill), taking into account the views and suggestions from civil society and the general public.
Hazare is a member of 'anti-corruption in India, a nongovernmental organization that includes many prominent social activists including Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Swami Agnivesh fight against corruption.
